At Holy Savior Lutheran Church, we strongly believe that one needs to commit to growing in their spiritual life. We offer several opportunities for Christian growth. We have a series of four classes, Word 101–Word 401 that are an awesome start for anyone to whet their appetite to learn more! We encourage our members to attend conferences that focus on many topics including: leadership, evangelism and marraige… just to name a few! There are several Bible studies that cover a range of topics and meet at various times. Please see a current bulletin for bible study information.

Word 101–401 Classes
Please call the church office to sign up for the next available class.

Word 101
A basic 10 session on the fundamentals of Lutheran Doctrine. This is a prerequisite for Word 201-401. This class currently meets at 9:30 am on Sundays.

Word 201
A 10 session experience covering the Old testament. This class is taught at 11:00 on Sunday mornings.

Word 301
The New testament is covered in 10 sessions. This class is taught at 11:00 on Sunday mornings.

Word 401
This is an intense overview of Word 101 with emphasis on sacraments and theology. Word 101, 201 and 301 are a prerequisite. This 10 ession class is taught at 11:00 on Sunday mornings.

Cell Groups
Small groups meet together around God’s Word, prayer, fellowship and evangelism. See a current bulletin for cell group opportunities.

Lifelight Bible Study
Lifelight is an in-depth Bible study that will truly enrich your relationship with Christ. Call the church office for more information.

Divine Drama
This is a 30 unit intermediate-level course. It is divided into two sections: surveying the biblical narrative and the themes that emerge in the narrative. Call the church office for more information.

Crossways International
This is an in-depth course that probes the entire Bible (including the Apocrypha) to present the complete biblical narrative and its many themes. This is a 60 unit course. Call the church office for more information.

Conferences and Workshops
Several times throughout the year, local conferences and workshops are available. We publicize and encourage one another to attend and continue to grow. 2 Timothy 4:2 says “Preach the Word of God. Be persistent, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke and encourage your people with good teaching.”
