Youth Ministry
Youth are a vital part of Holy Savior. We have several opportunites and programs to keep the youth connected to Christ. We offer KidsQuest Seekers and Worship on Sunday mornings and a midweek program for ages 3 through 8th grade on Wednesday evenings during the school year. We have a week of Vacation Bible School in the summer. There are also youth groups for the Junior and Senior High grades.
Kid Quest Seekers
Meeting from 9:15 to 10:30 on Sunday mornings, KidQuest is not your typical Sunday School. Utilizing a large/small group format, children experience God’s Word through puppet skits, crafts, snacks and games — all based on a single Biblical lesson each week. Kids have plenty of interaction with each other as well as mentoring adults, called Shepherds.
KidQuest Worship
KidQuest Worship is a chance for children to experience worshipping God at their own level. Songs with actions, Bible talks related to kid issues and a hands-on approach to the Bible is what KidQuest Worship is all about! We meet from 11:00 to 12:00 on Sunday mornings.
Kindle
This is a program for children ages 3rd to 4th grade. Kindle is held on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. It is not held during Advent and Lent. There is homework involved pertaining to memorization of Bible verses and other items. There is a $20.00 fee for Kindle kids.
Ignite
5th and 6th graders are encouraged to attend these classes. It is an 8-session course plus several service and fellowship opportunites throughout the school year. Ignite does break for Advent and Lent worship. The course fee for ignite is $45.00.
Blaze
Blaze is our 7th and 8th grade required class for Confirmation. A 10-session course, plus servant and fellowship events make it a faith-filled, fun year. There is a $45.00 course fee.
